University of Connecticut men’s basketball head coach Dan Hurley is all business, even when he gets a call from the President of the United States.

Hurley’s Huskies won the NCAA Tournament earlier this month after defeating San Diego State in Houston, and normally that means an invite to the White House is coming soon.

But when he did, Hurley ignored the call.

«He doesn’t show up on your caller ID as Joe Biden,» Hurley told The Athletic. «I just assumed that when he calls the president, it would be someone interrupting his call saying, ‘The president is on the line.'»

Instead, Hurley was on a call with a potential UConn recruit when he saw the 202 Washington DC area code. He didn’t think anything about it.

«I got a voicemail,» Hurley added.

It is unknown if the Huskies will accept Biden’s invitation to the White House.

The invitation to the LSU Tigers women was a controversial issue following their victory over the University of Iowa in the title game. First lady Jill Biden signaled that she was going to tell President Biden to invite both LSU and Iowa, which upset one of the Tigers’ star players.

While the first lady later apologized, Angel Reese, who was named tournament MVP, said she would rather see the Obamas instead.

«I’m not going to lie to you, I’m not accepting the apology because you said what you said…I said what I said. And you can’t take back certain things you said.» Reese said Tuesday on the «Paper Route» podcast. «I mean, you, like, felt like they should have come here for sportsmanship, right? They can have that spotlight. We’ll go to the Obamas, we’ll see Michelle, we’ll see Barack.»

Finally, after LSU accepted the invitation to the White House, Reese said that he will attend with his team.

«At first it hurt, it was emotional because we know how hard we work all year for everything,» Reese said earlier this month. «You never have that experience (to go to the White House) … and I know my team probably wants to go there for sure and my coaches support me, so I’ll do what’s best for the team.» and we’ve decided we’re going to go.»
