The Chicago Bulls almost seemed like a team of destiny as they came together for another comeback, but this time there was a different ending.

The Miami Heat clinched the No. 8 seed in the Eastern Conference with a 102-91 victory in the gatehouse tournament, ending Chicago’s season.

The Bulls came into the game after coming back from a 19-point deficit to defeat the Toronto Raptors in a game that knocked Toronto out of playoff contention. Miami was in this situation after losing the No. 7 seed game against the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday.
