The company Viva Air air announced on Monday night the suspension of all its operations nationwide. This decision is made after the ‘low cost’ airline presented a financial crisis and asked the Civil Aeronautics to receive Viva Air on a larger airline.
“Today, Civil Aeronautics issued a Communication acknowledging the interests of various third parties regarding Viva’s urgent request to allow its integration with a stronger and larger group of airlines. This unprecedented decision on the part of the entity, given as This has resulted in further delays in making a decision, which is why Viva is unfortunately forced to announce the suspension of its operations with immediate effect,” the airline’s statement said.
Faced with this situation, the Civil Aeronautics responded that it would ensure, together with the Transportation Superintendence, respect for the rights of users, who, by the way, were surprised that their flights would not operate while they were already at their respective airports.

Passengers ask to be assigned new flights
