A24 is the beloved film and television studio/distributor currently flying high following its historic wins at the 2023 Oscars ceremony with Everything everywhere at once. While many of its big theatrical movies aren’t on Netflix, many projects from the boutique studio are.
However, for the purposes of this article, we will be focusing primarily on Netflix Original A24 projects. Many Netflix regions receive A24 movies that are theatrically released, such as the UK leading midsummer at the time of publication.
Netflix in the US used to offer A24 movies before A24 moved its first window deal for Showtime and a large part of his post-HBO Max catalog.
Now, without further ado, here’s a look at A24 on Netflix:

Uncut Gems (2019)

Netflix is the home of Adam Sandler, so it makes sense that he went to great lengths to grab the distribution rights to it. uncut gemsOne of Sandler’s best movies.
As our note above states, the film remains a Netflix Original title in all regions except the United States. The US aired the movie for a period, but it departed in May 2022.
Sandler will reunite with the Safdie Brothers in an upcoming Netflix Original Full Movie that will begin production in mid-2023.
Month (Season 1)

Created by Mohammed «Mo» Amer and Ramy Youssef, Month is a comedy series first released on Netflix in August 2022.
Set in Texas, the series follows a man on the bread line and doing what he must to make ends meet as he continues to fight for American citizenship.
The series has a 100% certified fresh rating on RottenTomatoes, with the series’ critical consensus: «Frequently hilarious while possessing an absorbing sense of place, Mo is a thoughtful depiction of the immigrant experience that’s light.»
Despite not torching the top 10, Month defied the odds and landed a second and final season order on Netflix.
White noise (2022)

Cast: Adam Driver, Greta Gerwig, Don Cheadle

Noah Baumbach turned Don DeLillo’s 1985 novel into a dystopian drama released in select theaters and on Netflix in late 2022.
Set in the 1980s, the story (which came very close to imitating real world news) follows the life of an academic and his family, whose lives are changed after an air pollution accident near their Ohio home.
NBGG Pictures and Heyday Films produced the feature film for Netflix with the film being made «in association with A24».

The story centers on a road rage incident that sends two people down the path of revenge, with the pair fighting in the most petty ways for ten episodes.
the deepest breath (2023)

From filmmaker Laura McGann, this new documentary first premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival and is coming soon to Netflix worldwide.
According to the official synopsis of the upcoming doc, here’s what you can expect:
“A champion freediver and a safety expert seemed destined for each other despite the different paths they took to find themselves at the top of the freediving world.”
Survival of the thickest (Season 1)
Coming to Netflix: Determined

Michelle Buteau and Danielle Sanchez-Witzel are behind this new Netflix comedy series based on a book about a newly single, plus-size black woman who has to put her life back together after a relationship goes wrong.
The series was filmed in late 2022, but a release date has yet to be set. If we had to guess, it would be sometime in late 2023 or 2024.
Buteau will play Mavis Beaumont, with the cast rounding out Peppermint, Garcelle Beauvais, Tone Bell, Sarah Cooper and Anissa Felix.
